Guardia Civil at the Mino hotel helped us celebrate our safe arrival.
We made a decision today to give walking a miss to rest Peter’s leg for a day. So we took a bus instead and after a restful day with a firm crepe bandage on his leg he’s looking fit enough to tackle tomorrows hills.
A 20 minute bus ride at €1.35 seems a lot easier than
5 hours of walking!
We rejoined our group in the evening for drinks and dinner but had great difficulty finding anywhere open for dinner before 830pm! Eventually we found a pizzeria open that served good Spanish food at any hour and settled for a garden salad with asparagus, spanish style chopped pork, chips, bread and plenty of good local wine followed by creme caramel.
