This is NOT our Pilgrims accommodation in Lausanne!!

There are a lot of rich boys with expensive toys here on Lake Geneva, Switzerland.

image

Despite the stormy skies the lake is quite spectacular and today very calm.

Jenny will join us as we walk alongside the edge of Lake Geneva past Montreux before starting the climb through the alps up to the Great St. Bernard pass and down into the Aosta Valley, Italy.

image

The colours on the lake are magnificent.

image

Streetscape in Lausanne had a classically trained musician busking – it was just wonderful to stand around and listen to him.

image

Post lunch decisions are taken on how to spend our remaining time in Lausanne.

The scales of justice.

The Lausanne Cathedral was formerly Catholic but since the Reformation has been Protestant. The interior has since been stripped of all its icons in keeping with Protestant views.
